Dolors Barberan
Hello, I'm Dolors Barberán, welcome to this page where you can see and, if you want, purchase some of my works.
Since I can remember I have been drawing and painting. As soon as I finished high school I enrolled in the Tarragona School of Arts and Crafts, where I graduated in Painting Techniques. There I learned to paint with acrylics, oils, pastels... and a good drawing base.
I combined my work in an office with painting for years, while I continued training by taking courses with internationally recognized painters, especially watercolorists, until I was able to dedicate myself exclusively to painting and teaching other people to paint, an activity that has fulfilled me and that I continue to exercise.
My favorite technique has always been watercolor, although I paint a lot in other media, in the end I always return to it. And although I do landscape, marine, still life... My favorite subject is the human figure, especially portraiture, both in watercolor, oil or acrylic.
